Synopsis

During the Second World War, civilians in Central and Eastern Europe (Poland, Ukraine, the Baltic States...) paid a terrible price to the occupying Nazi and Soviet armies. With the help of eyewitness accounts and archives, we look back over six years of exactions, deportations and massacres.
