Synopsis

In the remote Thuringian Forest, four consecutive shots shatter the silence early one morning. Shortly afterwards, a black-clad figure flees from an Italian restaurant. Riding an off-road motorcycle, the unknown man races into the foggy thicket and disappears without a trace. When criminal psychologist Annett Schuster and profiler Jan Kawig from the Erfurt State Criminal Police Office are called to the crime scene, they are confronted with a shocking picture: two married couples, including restaurant owners Ricarda and Toto Sardini, were murdered in cold blood.
