Synopsis

The film is a metaphor for Ukraine, which needs real help to win this war. This film presents the fates of two different lighthouses: Irish and Ukrainian. Every lighthouse in the world of the film has a soul, embodied in the form of a young man, and special gifts with which they can answer the Call - the SOS signal that comes to them from ships in different times and spaces. They also have their Caretakers - faithful companions, ready to save people in any world. But this time something is wrong - the Call to Locklight, the Irish lighthouse, does not come from a ship, but from his fellow lighthouse, Mar from Mariupol. Aisling, the young Lightkeeper of Locklight, has to go there to find out what is wrong, and unexpectedly come face to face with the nightmares of her past... The film will introduce you to charismatic, funny, and kind characters: Locklight from the coast of Ireland will treat you to his signature tea, Mar will sing Ukrainian songs, and Ash will be your guide to the world of a special lighthouse community, where everyone is one family, able to find light for a friend even in the darkest times.
