Synopsis
This NHK television special introduces haiku, which are said to be masterpieces, by interweaving actual and mental landscapes from Matsuo Basho's travelogue in nothern Japan's Tohoku prefecture, "Oku no Hosomichi,'' or "Narrow Road to the Far North."
