Synopsis
A resident falls ill while working on the pandemic front lines in New York, and is faced with a difficult decision: should she continue to work, or leave for Asia to focus on her own physical and mental health? She chooses the latter. The backlash she faces is hauntingly similar to the tenets of the Japanese ritual of seppuku. After her final shift in the hospital, she takes off her white coat and stethoscope, and delves into a world where medicine, poetry, film, and Japanese culture collide.
