Synopsis

Giovanni Bertone, a former colonel, is a con-man who extorts money from the families of Fascist prisoners and promises them their freedom. Discovered by Colonel Muller he is offered a deal: to save his life, he must go to Milan under a false identity and discover who the members of the Resistance are.
