Synopsis

In the spring of 1972, a plane carrying a rugby team from Montevideo Uruguay crashed into the high Andes Mountains. For 72 days those who survive live through terrifying and miraculous events that lead to one of the greatest survival stories in human history. One of the 16 survivors recounts his story on his way up to the crash site 50 years later. He tells the horrors of surviving in an inhospitable environment and the power of the human will to survive. The account goes after his rescue and the new attributes he brings back to his newfound second chance at life.
