Synopsis

Paradigm is a science fiction drama short film, set in a not-too-distant dystopian future of 2092. In decades prior, Earth was ravaged by a series of natural disasters brought on by pollution - through the vanity and greed of man, the place we once called Earth, eroded before our eyes. Our protagonist, one of the few "Searchers" - descendants of man left on Earth, represents what is left of mankind - lifeless husks, forced to wander through the wasteland and scavenge for food and clothing to ensure survival. As he traverses through the barren and desolate land, he is drawn to something in the distance and mesmerised he walks to it, cautious of his surroundings. The object, revealed to be an old lockbox, has an otherworldly quality about it - although inanimate, it calls him to itself.
