Synopsis
Humans are creatures of habit, and can be good or bad on one's life depending on if the habits themselves are good or bad. The parallel stories of a day in the life of teen classmates Barbara and Helen are told. Helen has good habits which are second nature to her, allowing her to be prepared, and as such non-rushed, and well-groomed. Barbara, on the other hand, has bad habits, such as always sleeping in past the alarm, not putting any thought into her appearance, clothes or grooming, beforehand, and thus being rushed in the morning before heading to school, where she is always late and sloppy looking. Neither knew what was going to happen this day but Helen's good habits made the surprise event much happier for her, while Barbara went home in tears in her bad habits making her ill-prepared to handle the goings-on at the event, the way she presented herself at it most likely affecting her future. It's not too late for Barbara to develop a life of good habits, but she also has to learn that doing something once is not a habit.
