Synopsis
A recently widowed, British born, American (Nancy) finds that her husband has left her without much to support her and her son, Jake. However, her husband had been a generous supporter of St. Maud's College, Cambridge. The one chance that she sees is to return to Cambridge and to seek a job there. She manages to negotiate a job as assistant bursar and an athletic scholarship for her otherwise unqualified son Jake.
