Synopsis

Set between 1969 and 1973 in the heart of the American South, Cookbook for Southern Housewives follows the turbulent journey of Bonnie Carson, a disillusioned housewife ensnared in a passionless marriage. Craving an escape from monotony, Bonnie finds herself irresistibly drawn to the enigmatic mobster Burke Woods.
